If you watched television in the 80’s and 90’s you probably saw me in a few commercials. As you watch Simply America you may see some technical glitches... remember, I was an actor, actors are paid to do what they are told. When and where they are told.

Being a conservative in NYC and LA was a lot of fun. Once at an audition, I was supposed to be a golfer, sort of tricky since I’m not a Country Club Republican. I showed them my swing and was asked a few questions. I was making things up till I was asked what was my handicap. I knew it was a term used in scoring but nothing more... I looked straight into camera and said, “I don’t have a handicap, I’m a Republican.” I didn’t get the job and as far as I remember, I never got called into that casting director’s office again. Democrats have no sense of humor.

There are people’s homes I help build and I’m very proud of that. Most will never know I was there but as I worked, I knew I was building what should be the safest place in their lives.

Since 2004, life has been politics. Some will say, I am a rabble rouser. Good.  The one thing I have realized over and over these past years; No one is listening to us.
I told a friend I wanted to go across America and talk to conservatives.

What would you tell them, he wanted to know. 

I would tell them nothing.

I would listen . . .

How and why it started...

Simply America was initially conceived as a journey across our country to give a voice to the American conservative; to cast aside the disdain and ridicule which has been heaped upon us, and which has come to define us outside the party.

It became evident with the daily barrage from Washington—with the support and collusion from the media—that OUR voices must be heard to save the heart and soul of America! We are not standing by silently and allowing our Party and country to be led to ruin.

Americans—conservatives, libertarians, classical liberals, Republicans—all have stepped from their day-to-day lives to become a part of this stand against the onslaught of the left, the sophisticates, the Europhiles...

•    A mother of nine in Ventura, CA organizes a movement to attend and hold to task the Town Council. This movement has grown to Arizona and Florida. She now has declared her candidacy to sit on the Town Council.

•    A military mother of two in Fort Bend, TX steps forward and single handily brings the objectives of her daughter’s School District to a halt.

•    A grandmother, a shopkeeper in Union Grove, WI stands alone against the union thugs who threaten to boycott her store because she will not post a sign declaring her solidarity with them against the elected Governor and Legislature.

Simply America... it must continue...

We know in 2012 we must take the Oval Office back. But, we must also take back all of Congress as well as State Houses and City Halls. Unless we make giant steps toward getting our country back, the prognosis is not good for our Party or the U.S. Constitution.

Simply America will utilize and benefit from the ongoing media revolution. Just as the new media gives voice to the extreme left, it will be used to give our proponents their voice. To convince all who hear and see, that we are the party of today and the future.
